Nanopresso Portable Espresso Maker Guide

01
Measure and grind
Measure 7g of coffee beans and grind the beans to an espresso fine (ground/beans).

Preheat & rinse
To prevent heat loss, run a brew without coffee using only boiled water to retain heat and produce a stronger brew.

Add coffee
Using the nanopresso scoop, fill the coffee basket with 8g of coffee and tamp the puck with the back of the scoop to tighten the coffee bed. Fix the coffee basket to the side of the main body which contains the filter.

Get brewing
Add 80g of boiling water to the water chamber and fix it to the other end of the main body of the Nanopresso.

Twist and release
Twist the head of the pump piston to release it.
STEP

Upside down
Turn the nanopresso upside down and start pressing the piston 6 to 7 times to build pressure for the extraction. Stop pressing the piston when you extract 40g of liquid coffee. We do not recommend extracting further unless you want to have a long black.

Enjoy
At the end of the brew you will get a small yet strong shot of coffee perfectly delicious to drink as it is or to dilute with your favorite liquid.
